The QIORA Standard

QIORA evaluates what the grading report records and what the stone shows in use. The standard is evidence first: traceable specifications, a visual review and written confirmation before purchase.

1. Match the evidence

When a grading report is listed, verify its number, measurements and identifying details against the stone and product record.

2. Screen the appearance

Review transparency, unwanted brown or grey tint, fluorescence where relevant, symmetry, polish, proportions and facet alignment. Look for distracting bow-ties, windowing, light leakage or persistent dark areas.

3. Review the piece

Confirm the selected metal, setting style, dimensions, finish and ring size. Product media should represent the actual item or be clearly labelled as reference material.

4. Confirm the order in writing

Before payment, QIORA confirms the item or scope, price, availability, sizing, expected timing and the terms that apply to that order. A consultation request is not an order confirmation.
